Marco Parolo gave an interview right after the 1-1 draw against Napoli in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final. Here is what the midfielder had to say in front of Lazio Style Channel:

“We could have closed the game in the first half. It’s a shame we missed our chances. In the return leg Napoli will be slight favourites but we have the tools to beat them and earn a place in the final. We just have to show the same spirit and desire”.

“We did quite a good job in midfield while Napoli was mostly relying on their individual class”.

“We had our chances to close the game but we missed them. I am confident that we will do good at the return leg and will come back to Rome as one of the Coppa Italia finalists”.

“Their reaction in the second half was expected. They managed to shift a few gears up and caused us some problems. They defended very well and it was hard to find spaces”.

“This game is over and our minds are set on the league. There are important games in the coming weeks. We have to play with the same desire and spirit against Fiorentina if we want to win and keep our hopes high for the third place”.
