24/04/2011: Lotito: "Inter did not ask our permission to water the field !"
email print
Lotito still thinks the defeat against Inter was undeserved. Speaking to Sky Sports 24 he said: "There were a number of factors that have resulted in this defeat. For instance in a reputable competition as Serie A, you cannot water the field 10 minutes before the game. We are not used to playing on a wet field, and Inter should have taken our consent. This affected us and I am not only talking about the Biava incident. There were other players who were sliding all the time. I don't want people to think that this is the only issue that has caused the loss, but it is a factor that played its part. The other issue as I mentioned yesterday was the lack of concentration and will that were obvious in the Catania game but not in this one."

Now Lotito is ready to move on and discuss the coming games: "We now have four difficult remaining matches. AS Roma are recovering well and in every game you don't get always what you deserve, as we have seen in the Inter game."
