Julio Baptista, former Roma player and now striker at Spanish club Malaga, has been linked to Lazio.
Some papers in Spain claim that Baptista would leave Malaga if they relegate to the 2nd division. With still 5 games in hand in the Spanish Liga, Malaga are just 1 point above a relegation place.
Baptista left Roma in January 2011, and signed a deal till 2013 at Malaga.
His agreement states that he will be automatically released, in case of relegation.
Only his high salary (about 1.2 million € a season), could drop many clubs to sign the Brazilian striker.
