Primavera midfielder Enrico Zampa spoke to Lazio Style Radio about the state of the team and the upcoming challenge in the final eight.
Lazio have qualified to the final eight stage and have a shot at the the title this season. The little eagles have one final match against Reggina that has no effect on the standings.
Enrico Zampa, the 18 year old midfielder, had an interview with Lazio Style Radio and this is what he had to say:
"We need the fans to support us. This year we have a chance to win the title, and we need all the support from the fans."
Asked about his development, Zampa said: "It is all thanks to Mr. Bollini (Primavera Coach), he has taught me a lot and I have to thank him for that. He taught us that if we are to grow, we must sacrifice."
The team has been performing well, and when Zampa was asked for the secret recipe he said: "The coach taught us that if we are to win, we have to play as a group. Unity is our strength, and the new arrivals including Onazi gave us a big boost."
Then Zampa spoke about the difficult times of Barreto and how the group stood next to him: "Gonzalo has been passing through difficult times, it is not easy to lose your mother and he had difficulities focusing on football. But the whole team supported him, and now he has returned to scoring goals."
The focus now is on the final eight, and Zampa is determined: "We have one month to prepare, and it will be a challenge to stay in shape when not playing, but we will train hard. Besides its a good chance for the injured to rejuvenate."
