As Lazio push to secure 4th place they are already planning major reinforcements for next season and a hopeful campaign in the Champions league.

The first name linked today is that of Queens Park Rangers Moroccan playmaker Adel Taarabt. The player, with a French passport has helped his team to the brink of promotion to the Premiership with 18 goals. Taarbart is 20 years old.

The situation on Lamela is more complicated so Lazio may look towards Carlos Munoz of Santiago Warriors and there is still the option of Andres Carrillo.

Lazio seem closest to signing Maxi Lopez from Catania. According to the Sicilian club, Lazio already have their hands on the player with an agreement of 10 million Euros in place. All that is lacking is the player's agreement. The Argentine wants to focus on helping Catania avoid relegation before deciding his future.

At the back, Lazio are still waiting on a confirmation on Ziegler, out of contract with Sampdoria. They are also following Senad Lulic from Bosnian side Young Boys and Marek Cech of West Brom.
