  29/04/2011: Carrillo: Game over ?
email print
According to a report in De Telegraaf, Andre Carrillo has travelled to Holland to sign the papers and join FC Groningen.

Reports in Italian media have stated in the past that Lazio were close to signing the player, but in recent weeks, the reports talked about an advantage from Groningen over Lazio.

Such reports were confirmed by a statement from the Allianz Lima president (the club where Carrillo still plays) that Lazio have not submitted an offer while Groningen did.

Speculations also recently mentioned that Atalanta and PSV Eindhoven have gone in to try to snatch the player's signature, but it appears now that the story has came to its conclusion.

We await the official announcement we mark this report as confirmed.
