  06/05/2011: Lotito-Palazzi meeting postponed
email print
Following Lotito's declarations after the Juve game, FIGC prosecutor Palazzi has asked him for a meeting which will be held today.

Il Presidente had launched a scathing attack on the referees mistakes and requested for reforms in the sportive system as a whole.

FIGC have then responded through their president Abete. And Claudio Lotito has been requested to meet with FIGC prosecutor Palazzi to submit the documents in possession for such declarations.

Lotito has already clarified his position by saying that he is requesting an investigation to see whether mistakes against Lazio are intended or not.

It is worth noting that ever since that request (meeting with Lotito), the club president has refrained from speaking to the press about the issue.

Will FIGC treat the issue with responsibility and launch in investigation or will FIGC simply bury their head in the sand and claim that Lotito's statements are unfounded since no proof exists. We await what will happen following the meeting...

Update: The meeting was postponed until a later date.
