Fiorentina Vice President spoke to Corriere Dello Sport and assured that Lazio's issue with CONI will be solved and that Artemio Franchi is only a temporary solution not more.

Speaking to Corriere dello sport, Fiorentina's Vice President, Mario Cognigni, said: "Giving permission for Lazio to use Artemio Franchi was only to help Lazio apply to the UEFA license since they could not use Olimpico."

Cognigni went on to assure the fans that the Viola have taken a commitment from Lazio President Claudio Lotito to solve the issue swiftly.

"Lazio have simply called us to request an alternative field until they solve the dispute with CONI. This is why I ask the viola fans to be calm, Artemio Franchi will be home only to Fiorentina." assured Cognigni.

Cognigni also assured that Fiorentina do not wish to challenge CONI nor they are willing to take sides, and they will be having a talk with CONI to clarify this issue: "We believe in the commitment Lotito made to us. If the problems are not solved within a certain timeframe, we will have to re-evaluate our position on the issue. We remain convinced that all will be solved in the best interest of the sport." concluded Congnigni.
