According to, Lazio Defender Andre Dias spoke to the supporters at Formello and defended Reja but admitted that Lazio will always struggle unless they buy a new striker who can score.

Dias who stopped to speak with supporters at Formello who asked him about the defeat at Udinese said: "We all did mistakes, I myself am responsible for a goal. No one is to blame more than the other, we are all responsible for the defeat."

Discussing the possibilities of Lazio earning champions league qualification with the fans, Dias was realistic: "I will be honest, it will be very difficult to get the 4th place, but in football anything can happen. We still believe."

But it appears that Dias is already thinking about the future which hints that Dias sees himself at Rome next year, speaking to the same group of fans, Dias said: "This team is strong, and now we hope to achieve something next year." A fan complained on how can Reja field Floccari as a midfielder, Dias was quick to defend uncle Edy: "The coach is not to blame for our losses, we are all on his side, but Lazio needs a striker, someone like Gilardino would be perfect, maybe next year. I am sad for how the season has come to an end."
