  20/05/2011: Lulic deal almost done
email print
Lazio have almost found their heir to Kolarov. The Serbian left Rome for Manchester City almost one year ago and has still not been replaced. Stefan Radu has been used as left back most of the season but his preferred position is in the centre and Javier Garrido has not lived up to expectations.

La Gazzetta Dello Sport has reported that Lazio have all but struck a deal to sign Young Boys left back Senad Lulic in a deal worth 3 million. They also report only a few details are missing for the deal to become official. Lulic, 25, is Bosnian and has a Swiss passport and has scored 9 goals for Young Boys this season. His contract expires in 2013.

Also it has emerged from England that Newcastle winger Jonas Gutierrez has nominated himself for a move to Italy and shows his admiration for the biancoceleste as the Daily Mirror reports, "I'd like to play in Italy, as a boy I always watched Lazio on television, they were one of my favourites". His name has recently been circulating around Lazio.
