The 2010–11 Serie A is the 79th season since its establishment, the first under a league committee separate from Serie B. It began on 28 August 2010 and ended on 22 May 2011.

Three teams will be playing directly on Group Stage in UEFA Champions League 2011-12: AC Milan, Internazionale, and Napoli. Udinese has to go through qualifying stage.

Three teams will be playing in Europa League 2011-12: SS Lazio, AS Roma, and Palermo.

Three teams has been relegated, they were Bari, Brescia, and Sampdoria.
