  24/05/2011: Reja: "Zarate stays"

With Lazio narrowly missing out on Champions League football, the team still have to prepare for the Europa League and although the players are disappointed, Reja maintains that the team should be proud. "We have to wait a few days, when the anger wears off and realise that the Europa League is a great achievement", Reja told Sky Sports.

Reja confirmed yesterday that he will remain at Lazio next season and now looks at his squad to plan for the coming mercato. One of the uncertainties is the future of Muslera. The keeper still has no renewal lined up and Reja is keen to avoid the same situation involving Ledesma a few years ago.

Edy also admitted he wants a new striker. "I want to bring a true number 9 to Rome. Gilardino, Klose or Maxi? I hope the presidents gets one of these three targets".

Finally Reja commented on the future of Zarate, who has had a turbulent relationship with the tactician. "He will not leave. I have a good relationship with him. During the week his agent will meet Lotito".
