In an interview with Radio Sei, Stefano Capozucca, the mastermind of transfers at Genoa gave an insight into how Lotito is conducting business in Rome. The highlight of the conversation was his revelation that Lazio have already bought Senad Lulic from Swiss side, Young Boys:

"With regard to Criscito, negotiations will be difficult as Lazio have bought Lulic for that position."

Capozucca was also asked about some of the other rumours that are circulating about the two clubs:

"Lazio and Genoa are always in contact with each other as our presidents have a close relationship. I am not aware of an approach for Rafinha though. He is an important player to us and attracts the attention of many top clubs."

Radio Sei also cheekily asked about their past interest in Lichtsteiner and if we should expect anything to materialise this summer:

"Yes, we asked Lazio about Lichtsteiner in the past. Gasperini liked him but Lazio's demands were overwhelming so we did not proceed any further. We won't buy any players for this role in the mercato as we have an abundance of players, including Konko and Rafinha.

Corriere dello Sport claim that only Lulic's signature is needed and that he will be officially a laziale sometime next week. Meanwhile previous target, Reto Ziegler closes in on a move to Juventus.
