11/06/2011: No deal for Lichtsteiner, Konko in waiting
email print
Stephan Lichtsteiner's brother and agent has claimed that a key meeting will be help between Juventus and Lazio representatives on Tuesday and that a deal could become official by the end of next week. However, no agreement has been reached for Lichtsteiner as Lotito insists on receiving the sum of 10 million for the player. It is thought that the Lazio president does not want any player excahnges.

TuttoSport reckon that Juventus will offer nine million to Lazio on Tuesday and that this should be enough to force Lotito into a deal since Abdoulay Konko is available at the cut-price of five million. Corriere dello Sport say that the French right-back is ready and waiting.

However, there is also a possibility that Lotito will wait to see if Douglas Maicon makes the move from Inter to Real Madrid in the near future. If so, Claudio Lotito believes they will come looking for Lichtsteiner and that the Nerazzurri will activate the Swiss player's buy-out clause of 12 million euro.
