13/06/2011: Aguirregaray's Agent: "I am talking to Lotito"

The search for a right-back continues. There is a belief that at some stage tomorrow, Lichtsteiner will sign for Juventus with Abdoulaye Konko's move to Lazio imminent. Between the two deals, Lazio are looking to make a five million euro profit.

However, revelations from Antonio Caliendo this morning has cast some doubt on the proposed deals. Matias Aguirregaray has been a long-term traget of Lotito's and with Spanish passport in hand, the only stumbling block would be the transfer fee. Six million euro is said to be the figure.

Caliendo recognises this to be the only problem but it is intriguing to find that the search for a right-back is far from complete.

Aguirregaray was linked heavily to Inter Milan last summer as Douglas Maicon edged ever closer to Real Madrid. As the move failed to materialise, Aguirregaray remains on the market.
