Captain Rocchi sees Klose as a big boost to the squad and looks forward to the new season.

Our beloved captain, Tommaso Rocchi, had a tough last campaign where he was out for a long time with injury. Nonetheless he now looks forward to the next Serie A campaign. The Italian is having a vacation with his family but he still had time to give an interview to Corriere dello Sport. He started out congratulating the team for the Klose signing:

"It's an important deal, I'm very happy for this deal. I hope he does well in Lazio, he's a player with big International class. The team needs the best when reentering Europe. I've noticed that the team is doing well and I'm convinced that we'll have a very competitive line-up for next season."

Rocchi hopes to contribute with more for the upcoming season: "I'm arriving in Auronzo with great determination and I can't wait to get started again. This year we will be in the Europa League and for this I hope for the best for me and for the fans.

"I'm staying with this shirt and I want it to give me new satisfactions. I'm ready to fight for my position. The opportunity to play in Europe is a big motiviation. My 100 goal dream is soon just a dream. I'd like to become a part of Lazio history, but I don't want to promise anything. It's better to score the goals."
