Lazio striker Mauro Zarate confirmed to Radio 6 that he will stay at Lazio. President Claudio Lotito expressed that although the player was not up for sale, that everyone has their price and if an offer of at least 20 million came he would consider it.

Speaking to Radio 6 Zarate said: "I have no plans to move away from Lazio. I have a three year contract and I still want to do well, very well for this team. For us it was a great season, and we just missed out on our target. Next season we aim to repeat this and take it one step further and qualify for the Champions League".

He went on to say: "Some people are of the opinion that I had a good season, others think it was negative. For me, it was not the Zarate I want. A season that does not satisfy me keeps me quiet. I want to do more".

Zarate then spoke about fatherhood as his wife is expecting a child: "It's the greatest feeling in the world".

Meanwhile, Lazio midfielder Hernanes speaks about his first year in Italy and his aims for the future. "I had a dream in my life, to win the Olimpic Gold medal, because it is a title Brazil has not won. We came close and won the bronze medal. I hope I can be at the London 2012 Olimpics because you may have 3 players over 23 years old. Without a doubt, playing in the World Cup is another big dream, and I'll be ready when I get the chance to play in the national team."

Hernanes went on about his first year in Italy: "My role on the pitch in Italy is very different to that at Sao Paolo. I have to service the Lazio attack, create offensively without having to think too much about marking. Being a playmaker has allowed me to score more goals. My first season in Europe has been very positive, I adapted quickly, because I was received very well here. It was very important to gain the affection of the fans. I love Rome and I am very happy.

In other stories, the future of Fernando Muslera seems to be in the hands of his agent Fonseca. According to la Repubblica a decision could come very soon from Galatasaray. It is understood that if the latest talks fail then the Turks will look for an alternative but it is the desire of coach Terim to have Muslera there.
