Crucial day for Lazio as Lotito is in Milan for two meetings according to the Corriere dello Sport...

Claudio Lotito today is in Milan for the league assembly and according to the Corriere dello Sport he has two meetings arranged while he is there; the first is with Palermo president Zamparini and the second with the agent of Genoa defender Konko.

Lotito aims to secure a successor to Lichtsteiner today while in Milan, firstly he will meet Zamparini after making initial enquiries to the availability of Mattia Cassani. The Italian international has given the go-ahead for the deal, now Lotito has the task of finding a settlement with Zamparini. Corriere dello Sport speculate that Sergio Floccari may be inserted into the deal.

The second appointment is with Genoa player Konko's agent Daniele Conte. Konko had already rejected the initial offer from Lazio after Genoa accepted Lazio's proposal. Although it appears Cassani is the main objective, Lotito also likes Konko.

Elsewhere, former Lazio goalkeeper Tommaso Berni has signed a 3-year contract with Sporting Braga.
