29/06/2011: Cesena awaiting an offer for Marco Parolo

The Cesena president confirmed the midfielder has attracted interest from a few different clubs this summer, being especially attractive after making his debut on the international stage earlier this year. Cesena patron Igor Campedelli expressed a clear interest in a swap, as Pasquale Foggia is a player the new Cesena coach Marco Giampaolo has asked specifically for.

As heard saying in an interview with Radio Mana Mana, Libor Kozak has been one other player the Romagnan team has tried to lure over, but the president aired his worries of facing difficulties when including several other players in a deal. Also, it seems as if Foggia is seen as an integral part of the team new Cesena coach Giampaolo is trying to build, while Kozak would be an investment for the future.

Corriere dello Sport value Marco Parolo at around €8 million, a sum Lazio president Claudio Lotito has not offered for the 26-year old, nor has he confirmed he is in talks with Cesena over a potential transfer. However, the Emilio-Romagna president is confident a deal could happen as both teams would benefit from such a deal.
