The transfer saga of Stephan Lichtsteiner is over for this summer. The Swiss international, who joined Lazio from Lille in 2008 and quickly developed into a fan-favourite due to his loyalty shown on the pitch, has joined Juventus on a four-year contract. The bianconeri are to pay Lazio €10 million in three yearly installments, while it is also rumoured the player himself will add another €2 million to activate his buy-out clause. Earlier this week, and after the medical had been held, Lichtsteiner thanked the club, its supporters and the president for the three years spent in Rome.
