With joining Lazio and starting a new adventure, Djibril Cissé is not giving up the French national team.
Cissé was present at the last World Cup in South Africa, which ended in a disasterous way for the French.
But since then Cissé hasn't been called up by French national coach Blanc.
Cissé told sportspaper L'Equipe he ain't finished yet. With playing two good seasons at Panathinaikos, scoring 54 goals, he hopes that Blanc will set his eyes now on Cissé performances at Lazio.
"I am fit and ambitous. And Lazio plays in one of the strongest leagues in Europe, so a big challenge for me to outplay the Serie A defenders." he told L'Equipe.
Cissé played 40 games for the French team, scoring 9 goals in total.
