  10/08/2011: Interview with Lorik Cana
email print

New Lazio signing Lorik Cana spoke to la Repubblica about his new adventure in Rome. "I feel very good and this is the most important thing. Playing at Lazio is great and I hope it presents opportunities and alot of success".

Cana will face alot of competition this season for a starting place but admits this can only stimulate him. "When landing at an imporant club like Lazio, you are aware you will play alongside players of a high standard and this is very exciting. It's true we have many players and everyone wants to play but in the end you only enter the field with 11. The coach has tried several tactics having such a large squad. Reja knows where I can play, we have tried different positions. Ofcourse the media always try to create some controversy espescially with the new players".

Cana was referring to the words of Paolo Di Canio who stated Lorik only signed for Lazio because of his friendship with Igli Tare. "I do not understand what the problem is, Tare and I are friends.Too much has been said about this. Even though I have this deep friendship I always try to give my best on the field. I was given the opportunity to play with an important club and I accepted it with pleasure".

Why do people hate, they're friends but that doesn't mean that that is the only reason that cana signed lazio. They want him because he is a good player and he signed because lazio is a great opportunity for him and not because his friendship with tare. You all are going to see how good he is, t speaks for it selfs that albanians are talented, strong and never give up!!! te dua cana je ma i miri!!
