29/08/2011: Bernardo Corradi: Lazio is a top team
email print
At Lazio he had a great time. The years of the Mancini team. Years that were very tough for the team, but despite that Corradi was able to give the fans two fantastic seasons. Bernardo Corradi has Lazio in his heart. He always showed his passion for the club with his celebrations on the pitch, when he was owned by the club. He constantly proved his love for the Biancocelesti, even shouted “Forza Lazio” in front of the Sky’s cameras before a Udinese – Roma game.
“Return to Lazio would have been wonderful for, but no one contacted me” he told Radio Erre Due and continues “…wearing the shirt of Lazio was something very important to me”. He then continues on the transfer policy of president Lotito saying he is approving it as the president has built a very competitive team for both Europe League and Seria A.

The former Lazio striker commented also on the Zarate situation. Saying he doesn’t know the full details he is convinced, that wearing the sky blue shirt is a honor even for those who stand out of couple of games, but they must be prepared and understand the choices of the coach.

Bernardo Corradi also spoke about the big news in Italy this week – the football strike. “The strike was a big loss for all of us – players and fans. A fan strike? It would not serve anybody right now, even though the people are right.”

In the end he added he is fine and he just wants to play, not looking for millionaire proposals, but for serious projects and passion.
