31/08/2011: Agent: Makinwa might leave in January
email print
Makinwa's agent, Silvano Martina spoke exclusively to Radio Sei and revealed that his client was very close to join Pergocerma, but the negotiations dragged after the deadline.

"We agreed with Pergocerma in principle, and Makinwa went to Milan to discuss the last details but we could not finalize everything. The destination is not optimal for Makinwa, but he was offered a two year contract and he accepted. We will revisit this in January" said Martina.

"For now, the player will stay at Lazio, he will train, but he is not in the plans for Reja and to us that is no problem."

Finally the agent gave his opinion on Lazio's transfer market:

"The mercato for Lazio was very good, the team was stregnthened. As for the Zarate case, he made a difficult situation and in the end I think the right choice has been made. Overall it was a good mercato for Lazio."
