The agent of Andre Dias, Gilmar Rinaldi, spoke exclusively to Radio Six and mentioned that Dias being happy in Rome, could end his career with the biancoceleste.
There were reports about an injury for Dias but Rinaldi eased the concerns speaking to the microphones of Radio Six:
"I spoke with the player, and asked about this problem, but it turns out its a small inflammation that a day of rest will heal."
Rinaldi then spoke about Dias's future with Lazio: "He has a two year contract and we have a very good relationship with the club and the president. We could extend the contract for a year or two. It is simply a matter of small details but I am sure we will as Dias is happy and he wants to stay for more than the period of his current contract."
In the past mercato there were rumors that Dias was wanted by other teams, namely Juventus, but Rinaldi dismissed the rumors. "No one talked to me, the player is happy in Rome and I don't think Lazio will let him go easily."
Then Rinaldi was asked if Lazio will be looking at a Brazilian Zarate anytime in the future as Brazilian players at the club have showed a solid performance, including his client Dias and fan-favorite Hernanes.
"Hernanes will do even better this year, I am sure. He now speaks Italian and is more accustomed to the league. But for now there is no new Zarate in Brazil, but if in the future something comes up, I will surely propose it to the president." concluded Rinaldi.
