Lazio coach Edy Reja, in addition to Kozak, Gonzalez, Lulic, and Sculli shared their thoughts after the draw with Vaslui.

Starting with Reja who seemed to concede that the draw was a very disappointing result, but still was able to draw positives from the game:

"Vaslui was a very organized team, while the result is not what we hoped for, considering we played with 10 men for a long period of the game, the result would look acceptable. We tried until the last minute to win the match but we paid for our lapse and lack of concentration in the first 15 minutes of the second half." said Reja.

Questioned about conceding 4 goals in 2 games, Reja showed faith in his defense but singled out Zauri. "The 4 goals are not due to the weakness of our defense, they were more of an individual error. Being more attentive can prevent errors like those of Zauri. Besides we had lots of opportunities to score today, we simply were not clinical in our finishing."

Sculli shared Reja's thought and decided to be positive, "We played an excellent first half and had lots of opportunities to score, we lost concentration in the second half and those twenty minutes caused our downfall topped with Zauri's expulsion and the penalty. However, I must say that our team showed lots of character, we managed to equalize and missed on the third goal. We knew that Vaslui will defend heavily and rely on counter attacks, but all in all and considering the circumstances, we played a very good game."

Gonzalez was not as high spirited as his fellow team-mates and expressed his disappointment: "It was not the result we wanted, we deserved more, but we failed to score the winner. We lost a game in 4 minutes of lack of concentration, we had an opportunity to win the game in the end but we missed. Now we must focus again on Serie A, no times for regrets."

Asked about the 4-4-2 tactic used by Reja today, Gonzalez defended his coach: "Reja decided to use this tactic since Mauri is injured, and we practiced on it all week. And no, it is not due to the formation that we lost. You have to see that we looked strong and created as many chances as any other formation we played before. We were not able to finish our chances, and I wasted also a goal. We have to finish our chances to win."

Gonzalez was then asked about the defensive errors: "We are conceding from set pieces, and this shows lack of concentration. We have to be attentive to those situations. But we are still at the beginning of our season and these things will improve. We are working hard and now we will play Genoa on Sunday and we must win."

Kozak also lamented the lost chances: "We should have scored when we had our chances, we missed on those chances and things became more difficult. Seeing how we were playing with 10 men, the result can be considered satisfactory."

Lulic on the other hand looked adamant to forget the game and look forward: "We were bad in the first 20 minutes of the second half and we conceded two goals. Then we managed to equalize and to me that is satisfactory. Yes we could have won, and we wasted a great chance in Kozak's header, but what has happened has happened and now we can only look forward. This is only the first game, there is still enough time to secure qualification."
