21/09/2011: Interview with Zeman

Lazio have had a rough week following a 2-2 draw with Vaslui in the Europa League and losing 2-1 at home to Genoa. Current boss Edy Reja offered his resignation which was rejected by Lotito but things still seem slightly up in the air despite the manager having the full backing of the squad and president. Corriere dello Sport interviewed Zeman to get his opinion on things.
"Reja? The atmosphere in Rome is not easy, espescially when teams do not perform to their fullest. Lazio, at this time, the team is more important than his career. He has problems with the environment, I did when I resigned because I knew that I could not improve the team I was coaching at the time. The current game at Lazio? The team has changed alot, the driving force is different, but only 3 games have gone. We must convince ourselves as a coach that we are on the right track. The team is competitive, according to Reja, you just have to believe in the work you do. I thank the Lazio fans who always let me work in peace".
