|
Mauri, who despite being injured, stayed close to the team and said on his website: "I was obviously at the Olimpico last Sunday and although we were not able to bring home the 3 points I was able to breathe a great atmosphere around the team. The Curva Nord presented a beautiful banner which went like this: 'Staff, Team, Fans...United We Win!'. I believe with this spirit we will achieve different satisfactions this year".
Mauri will miss the match against Sporting Lisbon and said: "For me, I'm working like crazy to get back as soon as possible, in the meantime I will suffer at home and watch the match against Lisbon....Come on guys!"
Mauri is set to return for the Rome Derby on 16th October.
