02/10/2011: Hernanes: "We are growing, now the Derby"
email print
The Prophet seems to have finally come back from his vacation and showed class today as he was instrumental in the win against Fiorentina.

Everyone has been criticizing the absence of Hernanes's skills at the beginning of the season, and Lazio has been affected by his lapse which continued some games. With Mauri unavailable Hernanes is the only one who can provide the strikers with goals, and today he showed whom Lazio have been missing.

Speaking to Sky between halves, Hernanes was modest: "No, this is not yet the best of me, we are all growing as a team, we need time for the results to come."

After the game, the Brazilian spoke to Mediaset: "Everyone is saying the team is not good but the fact is, the results have not come our way. Now we are happy because today was not the case. We were able to score and the victory came. The team is more mature as we are able to get results away from home which did not happen last year. This is the best outcome for the game especially that the Derby is our next game. Roma have won their last two games, so we are both in a good position before the Derby."
