  05/10/2011: Reja: "Klose is extraordinary"

Three days and the call of duty resumes as the players are now enjoying a much needed rest before the hectic seven games in three weeks come on schedule. The win against Fiorentina was very much needed by Lazio to raise the morale of the  team ahead of the derby and while speaking to Lazio Style Radio, Reja stressed on the benefits of the win and praised some his players:

"Against Fiorentina we did very well. We have to remember that they had a full week's rest while we played on Thursday night. We are maturing and we were able to hold the ball well after some difficulties in the beginning of the season."

Reja then went on to give much deserved praise to some of his players: "Stankevicius done well both in the attention to the defense and the construction of the chances which begins at defense. Then Reja stressed on the importance of Matuzalem whose technical skills allowed us to hold the ball and distribute it well."

But the heap of praise fell on Super Klose, who scored his fifth goal in seven games not forgetting his assists: "Klose is an extraordinary player, he is so focused and is always in full concentration, he is such a good athlete and is so powerful." Klose would be playing for his national team the coming week but Reja is not worried: "He assured me he will only play the first game, and maybe not even the whole game."

As for the others (Cana, Lulic, Hernanes, and Gonzalez), Reja will wait till they come back to assess their situation.
