Lazio's Fernando Muslera and Alvaro Gonzalez received a warm welcome upon arrival at Jakarta International Airport for Uruguay's international friendly against Indonesia.

Due to the cooperation between LazioLand Feverforum and, about 100 Indonesian laziali inherited information about Fernando and Alvaro's flight routes and were able to organize a mass gathering and what a special gathering it proved to be.

Once the players had arrived at the airport, the group welcomed them with a banner.  It read:

"Welcome to Indonesia, Nando Muslera and Alvaro Gonzalez. From Indonesian laziali."

The congregation shouted their names and arranged for photos to be taken. They also handed the players a scarf that had been created specifically for Indonesian laziali.

A smiling Muslera was in the center for most of the chants and appeared to be genuinely surprised. Even Alvaro Gonzalez was smiling and waving to the crowd who at one point began to sing "Non Mollare Mai."

One of the members present at the meeting, "adrianlaziale" on Laziofever, described his feelings after seeing Muslera waving his hands to salute the group during a practice session the next day:

"Maybe for all of you, Nando waving his hand is just an ordinary thing but that’s because you can see him in Rome every week. For us, it was really amazing and interesting."

For four days, this group dedicated their time to being as close as possible to their heroes and to make them feel at home. On the matchday, they were all together and got to watch Alvaro Gonzalez in the second half, while Muslera didn’t feature.

It is safe to say that the Indonesian laziali gave the Lazio duo a memory that they will most probably cherish for the rest of their lives.
