14/10/2011: Fiore: "I hope Lazio wins"

Former Laziale Stefano Fiore has spoken to Radio Mana Mana about the upcoming Derby clash with the giallorossi.

Speaking on the Radio, Fiore said: "I sincerely hope Lazio wins, as a Laziale, I always want a win and there is no need to explain how important this game is. We cannot say who is stronger as Roma have started on a new project which I don't know how effective it will be in Italy, but Lazio now has an established squad. With Cisse and Klose, Lazio has two players that can finish the games."

Fiore also seems impressed with Hernanes and Mauri: "Hernanes did very well in his first year and surprised me. This year he has not hit his peak yet, but he is a very good player. Mauri also is a huge surprise as he is a versatile player with great technical abilities."

Remembering his past Fiore said: "I came to Lazio in times of trouble, there was a change of ownership and the fans expected a lot from us who arrived since we replaced the greatest players, of course I had to suffer in the beginning but then I stayed quiet and gave my all and as time passed I enjoyed myself and the next two years were the best in my career."
