16/10/2011: Reja: "Totti has class, but only when playing"
email print
Reja told la Repubblica: "I am sorry that tomorow night there is no Totti because he is a player of great class....when he plays!". The war of words continue following the initial jibes aimed at Reja from Francesco Totti a few days ago.

Reja continued, "You must believe in dreams, otherwise they will not come true. My desire is to give Lazio the victory in the Derby with which I feel in debt. I breathe again and Lazio has a future more hopeful and peaceful".

"I have total confidence in the team and in the group. The players are fine, the nationals are back in shape, despite the trip. Everyone is aware of the importance of the challenge. It is important to everyone".

Tension was high in the previous derbies which saw Lazio have players sent off. "Actually we lost them only for the episodes, because Lazio played better than Roma. Not so in the last derby where I never saw my players on the field. This year there were arrivals with international experience. They will keep clarity and tactical intelligence. I also express that the team would be enough at only 90% of it's potential. I have to put everything in place to make this dream come true after a long time".

The referee once again is Tagliavento who caused controversy in his last Derby, Reja commented: "I hope we are fortunate and there aren't any episodes to discuss like the last time. He is the best referee in Italy, it should only be peaceful".

Reja also hinted towards the line-up for tonights clash in which Mauri will start from the bench. Biava is set to rejoin after injury and will partner Dias in the centre of defence with Radu and Konko on the flanks. Gonzalez, Brocchi, Ledesma and Hernanes will feature from midfield and upfront will once again be Cisse and Klose who recovered from injury.

Meanwhile former Lazio youth product Federico Macheda had this message on his twitter: "Tomorrow night on the filed for only one result! VICTORY. That victory is missing too long now. WE ARE WITH YOU ALWAYS...DAJE LAZIO!"
