After todays comfortable win against Bologna the biancocelesti are at 14 points sitting second at the table with only Udinese ahead. After the match a satisfied Claudio Lotito spoke to Lazio Style Radio: "After Konko hit the post I feared it would end up like in Zürich with alot of chances but no goals. Today was a team victory with everyone contributing. I want to thank the players. It is also great to see that the fans seems to finally have made their peace with Edy Reja."

Lotito explained that all the tension around Reja was not as bad as the media made it look like: "The attitude towards him were premature and did not correspond to reality. People were affected too much by the media and did not look at the reality."

Lotito also spoke to Mediaset Premium, and like all the other journalists today they were interested to know if Lazio are aiming for the scudetto: "We have a great team spirit. I am convinced that if this team can keep it up they can give great satisfaction to their fans, but it is still early and there are other great teams."

Lotito was also asked about his summer purchase Djibril Cissé: "He has been good, but is missing the goal. He did set up the second goal today. He has chances every game and I hope it will turn around for him soon."

Lotito also had time to praise his other new striker, the veteran Miroslav Klose:

"His attitude and behavior has been great. Both off and on the field. He has the qualities I want to see in my team. I want to thank coach Reja for suggesting to bring him in together with Cissé. I hope everyone has realized his importance."
