After another victory on the road for Edy Reja and his players, Lazio president Claudio Lotito was very pleased. His team continiues with impressive performances when playing away from home. When speaking to SKY after the match there was a certain man on Lotito's mind, the captain Tommaso Rocchi who scored his 100th goal for Lazio today:
"Tommaso is a landmark for the club. He was made first purchase, and he will remain with us for a long time. Tommaso is the story of my administration. I have a great relationship with him and also great respect. There is so many matches to play this season, and over time he will demonstrate his value. He is not only great technically, but mentally aswell. He can still give so much to this team."
Lotito was also asked if the current Lazio is stronger under his management:
"We have managed to buy experienced quality players, that perhaps we was not able to do at the start of my time at the club. Especially in europe, players with these qualities are needed. Players like Klose and Cissé has been important, however we have a large group were everyone has a part to play. The coach knows he can count on everyone, and this is not a victory won by induviduals but a group. This team does not rely on dreams, but look at the reality. The reality is that every match is different, but if we can continue like this we can give great satisfaction to the fans."
