31/10/2011: Reja: Lazio to the top? Yes, if we improve the defense
email print
“We achieved a great benefit, even if we were not excellent from a technical point of view, because we were not in good physical condition. We have shown great maturity and cynicism” – said coach Reja after the victory over Cagliari this Sunday for Lazio Style Radio. “Away from home we score much more. Yesterday we had three opportunities and we scored all of them. The important thing is the increase in the mentality of the team. We just have to pay a little bit more attention to the defense. If we improve this point you might expect a top finish this season” – continued Reja.

Edy Reja admits he was a bit worried about Marchetti: “He does not deserve the boos from the Cagliari Curva Nord. He showed great personality. Despite the hostile climate at the stadium he showed he can take it”. The technician is also very surprised from Lulic: “In the initial project we had a free space on the left and I thought he is the man for it. He is doing well; he is on the right track. We will see if he can keep up the good rhythm”.
