  01/11/2011: Lippi praises Lazio
email print
During his coaching career, he won everything. Both at club level, and perhaps his biggest achievement, winning the world cup with Italy. Now Marcello Lippi is enjoying life and is watching Serie A as a spectator. Lippi was full of praise when Corriere dello Sport asked him what he thinks of the start to the new season:

"After Juventus there is Milan. Those two teams will stay up there until the end. I am not sure they will be up there alone though. Napoli is experiencing the difficulties with playing in the Champions League at the same time. Then there is Udinese, who always does well even if people do not have the highest expectations.

Personally Lazio intrigues me. Perhaps I did not realise how strong they are. Reja is doing well and has built a great team. Klose is extraordinary. Cissé aswell, but he has not yet exploded."
