17/11/2011: Diarra: "Lazio have a successful project"
email print
In the last days Lazio has been linked to another midfielder. 26 year old Lassana Diarra plays for Real Madrid, but with less playing time he is now looking for a move. Apperantly Djibril Cissé has already recommended him to Igli Tare.

Diarra says that the situation in the Spanish capital is frustrating and that he likes the current Lazio project: "Right now there is too much competition. I am in the prime of my career and do not want to stay on the bench. Lazio's current project is successfull and I am sure that my contribution would be essential. There is also the EURO next year to think about, and that is why Lazio would be ideal."

A big issue with the transfer could be the Frenchmen's current wages. He is currently earning €4,5m a season at Real Madrid.
