17/11/2011: Brocchi and Ledesma aims to beat Napoli

Last season, Lazio played Napoli at San Paolo in a highly controversial game. Cristian Brocchi now wants to get revenge and travel home with three points:

"The first thing that comes to my mind is the goal. It could have been an important victory for us, that would have secured our Champions League spot. With a victory in that game, even the third spot would be possible. So far this season, we have had problems with injuries. Mauri is vital for us, we saw that last season. Matuzalem and Gonzalez has also been out. I believe that when we play in many competitions many players are needed to achieve results."

Even if he is still thinking about his goal in Napoli last season, Brocchi does not blame the referee:

"In the field there alot of adrenaline and sometimes I disagree with the decision of the referee. They are human like us so they can not get everything right. We can only hope that they mostly make the correct decisions."

Another midfielder, Cristian Ledesma also spoke about the game against Napoli:

"We must not think of the Scudetto. We only think about doing well on saturday. Then after that, the next game. In Napoli we have to opportunity to erase the ghosts of the past. We are now stronger, with many new players, but there is also the players from last season that deserves a chance to play. Hopefully we have learned from our mistakes from last season."
