19/11/2011: Reja: "The team has grown"

After the draw at San Paolo coach Edy Reja spoke in the mix zone about the result:

“The team showed great character and temperament, especially in the first half. In the second half Napoli did a lot better, but Marchetti was unstoppable. We did very well especially in the midfield and defense. During the match we had injuries to Sculli, Brocchi, Cissé and Konko. We were already missing many players and the boys did great and this is an important result. To not concede any goals in Napoli shows that we have grown.”

Asked about the Scudetto, Reja was modest: "If you ask me right now, I would say the Scudetto is impossible. We have a good squad and we can achieve great things, but we will give our best at all times and we will see where we will end up."

Reja then added that he does not believe the team needs reinforcements: "Everyone is talking that we need a defender, I think the players at our disposal have proved that they are more than enough. I have told the president that we do not need more players. This team has the quality from all aspects and we can go on like this."
