Lazio's Director of Sport Igli Tare said "It was an important step" after Lazio managed a draw at San Paolo against Napoli:

"Napoli created many good opportunities. I do not think that they were already focusing on the Champions League. The played with the right commitment. For us, we achieved a good point on a difficult stadium. We are very pleased to see that our work is paying off. Cavani's goal? Since I watched the match live it was difficult to see."

Tare also praised last nights hero, Federico Marchetti:

"He made some decisive saves against Lavezzi. A great performance."
