Three days before the derby against Roma, the Primavera team had a highly important match against Palermo at Formello. With a 0-0 draw in the first leg, coach Bollini were looking for a victory today.

Lazio: Scarfagna, Ilari, Salustri, Crescenzi, Sbraga, Zampa, Cavanda (83' Fagioli), Onazi, Barreto, Cilfone (52' De Francesco), Emmanuel (72' Rozzi)

Goals: 11' Barreto, '32 Cilfone.

Most noticeably, Tommaso Ceccarelli stayed on the bench with the derby on the coach's mind.

There was never any need to bring him on since Gonzalo Barreto quickly gave Lazio the lead. In the 11th minute he scored the first goal of the day, and after 32 minutes midfielder Cilfone sealed the victory for the Biancocelesti.

The youngsters are now in the Quarter Finals, and this should give them some confidence ahead of the derby on Saturday.
