Conte, Chiellini and Buffon have all been very happy with the win as they believe Lazio possessed great quality and put the bianconeri in danger.

Chiellini speaking to mediaset said: "Today was not one of our best games, Lazio are a great team with great players, they put us in difficulty and we had to defend hard to win the game."

Buffon seconds Chiellini's thoughts and had special praise for Marchetti.

"We have to stress that Lazio have great quality. Marchetti is a great keeper and he proved it again tonight, but it is early now to give credits."

Conte shared the thoughts of his players: "Lazio are a great team, I think they will be fighting for the top places come end of the season. They made us suffer but we were able to win the game.
